Frequently asked questions
You can book your stay up to 11 months in advance. Rates and property details are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed. After your final advance payment is received, you’ll get a confirmation email. directions, arrival instructions, house rules, and a map of the property are sent a week prior to arrival and one day prior to arrival is an email with the key information. Please save or print everything before you arrive.
An advanced reservation payment of fifty (50) percent is required to confirm your reservation at time of booking. Advanced reservation payments are not damage deposits. Advanced reservation payments are made by credit card, bank transfer, or check. Any remaining balances are due twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival date. Reservations made within twenty-one (21) days of arrival date require full payment at time of booking. Reservations made on this site will require a deposit of half the rental amount balance to confirm booking with the remaining half, taxes and fees as well as the damage deposit due twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival.
Rates- All published rates are based on specific property location, size and amenities. Rates are subject to change without notice. St Pete Vacation House Rentals reserves the right to correct rates that may have been misquoted regardless of how the error was made.
Taxes - Tax in Pinellas County is 6%. Tax for the State is 7% so total tax is 13% Guests are responsible for paying all taxes.
Processing Fees- At this time there are no processing fees.
Additional Fees- A non-refundable housekeeping fee will be charged to all reservations. Housekeeping fees vary on the size of the property.
Cancellation
It is strongly encouraged that all guests purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance. Any guests choosing not to purchase CSA Travel Protection Insurance may only cancel 6 weeks prior to their scheduled arrival date and receive a refund of the advanced payment, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Travel insurance now includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) option. You must opt in at time of booking for this to apply to your stay. St Pete Vacation House Rentals does not give refunds for Man-Made, unsupported emergencies (anything where the Pass a Grille beach is not under a mandatory evacuation zone) and/or for Technological disasters.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Notice of cancellation by Guest: Notice must be in writing or email - Refund Policy: If notified 6 weeks prior to arrival then full refund less $100 in admin. fees. Should you cancel your stay within 6 weeks of your arrival you will not receive a refund for the rent and taxes However you will not be charged a security deposit and you will be refunded the cleaning fee. We recommend trip insurance to help cover the cost of upcoming issues. Please read any details in the insurance policy so that you know their rules.
Guest will be charged a $100 administrative fee for changes to reservations.
**NOTE: If you have rented through VRBO/Homeaway their service charge which was paid in the initial payment will NOT be refunded.
Should St Pete Vacation House rentals cancel before 12 noon local time on the scheduled day of arrival, Pass-a-Grille Beach House's liability to the guest will be no greater than the amount paid by the guest in respect of the booking.
CSA Travel Protection Insurance

Hurricanes/Tropical Storms
No refunds will be made due to Hurricanes or Tropical Storms, even in the event of mandatory evacuations. Refunds for Hurricanes or Tropical Storm evacuations are only given through CSA Travel Protection Insurance- under their policys.
