5 Places to play indoor or simulation golf in St. Pete and beyond.

When it’s so hot that “back nine” refers to the number of shirts you’ll sweat through playing a round, it can be tempting to hang up the clubs for the summer. But if you want to keep the rust away without leaving the AC, there are plenty of places to play indoor and simulation golf in St. Pete and beyond. Plus, you don’t have to wait on the beer cart to buy a drink. The bar is only a few steps away, and often there’s even a full kitchen.

Consider this some inspiration to hit the links without breaking a sweat. And if you’re looking for a change of pace, we’ve got spots on both sides of the Bay, so you can make a day out of it and head somewhere new if you’re feeling adventurous.

Golfology

2400 5th Ave S, St. Petersburg

Veteran-owned and community-rooted, Golfology planted its flag in the Warehouse Arts District in late 2024 with six Trackman simulator bays inside a 6,000-square-foot space that can hold over 100 people. Food and drinks come courtesy of neighboring Bayboro Brewing, delivered right to your bay via QR code, which is the kind of setup that makes you forget you ever have to leave.

Golf Social

23250 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater

What sets Golf Social apart in Clearwater is its 1,000-square-foot PuttView putting area, which projects lines and targets directly onto the turf so you can see your read before you even take the stroke. Trackman bays, a handmade food menu, and a full bar fill out the rest of the package.

Irons Club

2140 Central Ave, St. Petersburg

Opened in early 2025 in the Grand Central District, The Irons Club built its reputation quickly with four Trackman simulators, over 400 world-famous courses, and a chef-driven menu served in a sleek, social club setting. There’s also an outdoor putting green facing Central Ave, so you can work on your short game while the rest of St. Pete walks by.

The Par Pub

1870 Starkey Rd, Ste 2, Largo

One of the early players in the local indoor golf scene, The Par Pub in Largo keeps things simple: a Foresight simulator, a beer and wine bar with four rotating craft drafts, and enough darts and Jenga to fill the gaps between rounds. It’s a neighborhood spot through and through, and it’s only a few minutes from the beaches if you want to turn the whole thing into a full day out.

Topgolf

220 Carillon Pkwy N, St. Petersburg

Topgolf’s Carillon location runs 102 climate-controlled hitting bays across three floors, all powered by Toptracer technology that tracks your ball in real time and tells you exactly how badly you sliced that one. There’s a full-service restaurant, a rooftop terrace with fire pits, and a Tuesday half-off deal to sweeten the deal, with a second location in Tampa if you want to mix things up. It’s technically outdoors, but you’re under a cover, fans are blowing, and the AC is roughly 11 feet away.
